India vs South Africa 1st T20 2006: The first match of the T20 series between India and West Indies will be played on Thursday. This will be the 200th T20 match of Team India. Albie Morkel scored 27 runs in 18 balls.

Zaheer and Ajit Agarkar bowled brilliantly for India during South Africa’s innings. Zaheer took 2 wickets for just 15 runs in 4 overs. Agarkar took 2 wickets for 10 runs in 2.3 overs. He also took out a maiden over. Sreesanth took one wicket for 33 runs in 4 overs. Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh also got one wicket each. Harbhajan had given 22 runs in 3 overs.

Team India, chasing the target given by South Africa, achieved the target by losing 4 wickets in 19.5 overs. Dinesh Mongia and Karthik performed well for India. Mongia scored 38 runs in 45 balls. He hit 4 fours and a six. Karthik scored 31 runs in 28 balls. He hit 3 fours and a six. Suresh Raina was unbeaten after scoring 3 runs. Mahendra Singh Dhoni was out on zero. In this way Team India won by 6 wickets.
